About us
Jäger Hotel is a special place in the heart of Carinthia, where the silence of nature, the proximity of the mountains, and attentive hospitality come together. Located in Annenheim, above Lake Ossiach, we welcome our guests with a unique panoramic view – just 550 meters from the Kanzelbahn cable car.
In our family-run hotel, hospitality is not just a service but a vocation. We work with care and dedication to make every visit a special experience. Guest reviews also show: people don’t just stay with us – they return again.
The hotel’s style combines natural simplicity with modern comfort. Most of the bright, spacious rooms feature a balcony with views of the lake or mountains, while the rooms with garden access open directly into nature. We believe the same. In our restaurant, quality and closeness to nature are reflected in every bite – just like the view of Lake Ossiach and the Carinthian Alps.
Our head chef and kitchen team prepare every dish with great care, so that you can enjoy something truly memorable at every meal. The dishes reflect the characteristic flavors of the region, while fans of Mediterranean and lighter cuisine also have plenty of choice.
It is important to us that every guest feels comfortable – therefore we also prepare tailored meals for vegetarian, vegan, lactose- and gluten-sensitive guests, as well as those with diabetic dietary requirements.

Meats
The meat served comes from Austrian and regional breeders and is produced under strictly controlled conditions.
Fish
Our freshwater fish come from the Kärnten Fisch fish farm.
Vegetables and fruits
Most of our fruit and vegetable ingredients come from producers in Carinthia.
Breakfast
A good day starts with an exceptional breakfast. Our buffet offers homemade jams, fresh baked goods, warm dishes made with farm eggs, as well as special teas and quality coffee. Based on guest feedback, many consider it the best breakfast of their lives – try it yourself!

VIP package which includes the following extras:
- daily Jeep shuttle to the cable car
- use of our Finnish sauna house
- Provision of bathrobes in the room
- premium coffee and tea selection for breakfast (espresso, cappuccino, latte, Teekanne tea)
A VIP package 20 Euro per person per night, which is available only for guests aged 18 and over. Each child of an adult guest may use the transfer service free of charge. The VIP service is available for a minimum stay of 3 nights and can only be booked for the entire duration of the stay. The shuttle service is not available on the arrival and departure days.
